V Diva,

My friend Gail (for the sake of this letter) is known for being irresponsible with her finances but once again I feel suckered.  About two weeks ago she came to me to borrow $400.00.  While she didn’t exactly tell me why she needed the money, she did make it seem very important and appeared to be very distressed by the situation.   Because she is my friend and was so stressed, I reluctantly allowed her to borrow the money on the condition that she pay me back when she gets her income tax check (which was her idea and what she agreed to).

Just this past week another mutual friend of ours and I were talking on the phone when she unknowingly told me that Gail had just bought concert tickets for the two of them to see Beyonce!  She wasn’t aware during our conversation that I had just loaned Gail money.

I am so furious right now!  While I didn’t loan her my last I can certainly think of some things I could be doing with that $400.00 at this moment.  Right now I just feel like calling Gail, giving her a piece of mind and demanding the loan be repaid immediately!

Help what should I do?
